Endpoint Security
Studio runs on your endpoint, under your endpoint controls.
Because Studio is an installable application, endpoint security is largely the customer's domain — MDM, EDR, full-disk encryption, OS hardening. PeerAI's responsibility is to ship a clean, signed, verifiable binary.
What PeerAI ships

DMG signed and notarised. Distributed via Homebrew tap and direct download.

Per-platform checksums published with every release. Verify before install.

What the customer owns
- Endpoint hygiene
OS patch level, EDR, MDM, full-disk encryption. PeerAI relies on the customer's endpoint posture.
- OS-level access control
Studio inherits the OS account principal. Customer's authentication and authorisation policies apply.
- Backup and recovery
Customer-side backup of Studio data (~/.peerai/) per the customer's endpoint backup policy.
